Southern 500 Parade of Trucks

 

It was papa's idea Thursday, May 9th to let Mason see the Southern 500 Parade of trucks for the race this weekend in Darlington..and Mason had a great time. The Budweiser clydesdale horses and buggy, and even the dalmation were at the Civic Center.. along with race cars, the huge (and fancy) 18 wheeler trucks that haul the cars. He even got home with an autograph from one of the drivers.  His favorite was the M&M truck and car. For obvious reasons :)  Daddy could not go, but it was mommy, nana, papa, and Mason. After sweating it out walking around the civic center looking at all the trucks and displays we went to McDonalds for an ice cold strawberry milkshake to drink while we waited on the "parade of trucks" to begin.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



Trip to an Animal Farm and Tractor Ride

 

Took Mason with some friends to an animal farm when the weather warmed up in April and then on a tractor ride around the lake and farm.  He saw a peacock, pigs, rabbits, chicks, goats, sheep, a horse, turkeys, and even brushed a donkey's hair! Of course, he loved it!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



Zoo TIME Today!!

We went to the Riverbanks zoo today, on one of the busiest school field trip days of the year I think...SOOO many children!  We went with our friends Tripp, Bryn, and Ella Carlisle.
